A citizen was killed for blasphemy at Warburton
Warburton (92 News) – In Nankana Sahib area of Warburton, a citizen was killed on charges of blasphemy.
In Nankana Sahib’s Warburton area, angry mobs attacked a police station to free a citizen from police custody.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was informed about this incident and ordered to investigate. Shahbaz Sharif said that no one has the right to influence the law.
At the request of the interim Prime Minister of Punjab Province, a 3-person investigative commission was formed to investigate the incident of Nankana Sahib Warburton. IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed was appointed as the convener of the committee. DIG Faisal Ali Raja and DIG Amin Bukhari will also be members of this committee.
The committee will investigate the incident within 48 hours and report to the Prime Minister.
On the other hand, IG Punjab has suspended DSP Nankana Circle and SHO.
