London (Daily Pakistan Online) A man in south-east London was sentenced to 10 years in prison for stabbing his father. On September 14, 2021, 31-year-old Sean Morris stabbed his father, Paul, to death about 30 times and escaped. When she was caught, Morris claimed that her 52-year-old father had sexually assaulted her. The 31-year-old admitted murder but was acquitted of manslaughter after a trial at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
According to the report of the British newspaper Mirror, the prosecutor William Emlyn Jones QC said that the neighbors informed the authorities about this. Car salesman Paul told his neighbor’s couple he didn’t want to die when he arrived on their doorstep covered in blood after the attack. While he was being treated by emergency services, a police officer asked him who was responsible for the attack, and he replied, “Sean.” Despite the efforts of the doctors, he died at the scene at 23:56.
After a short search Sean was found several hours later running in nearby gardens. He was on the roof of a garden shed where he was surrounded by police before he was finally taken into custody. “I have nothing to lose,” Sean said. You are trying so hard to arrest me because I killed my father who abused me, he violated my honor… and you want to arrest me? What kind of justice is that?”
