The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a warning for up to 113% increase in gas prices. The new gas price is valid from January 1 to June 30, 2023

The price of gas for various sectors, including household consumers, was increased from 16 to 113 percent. The increase was achieved on the advice of the petroleum department.

Domestic consumers are divided into 12 protected and unprotected categories. The fixed charge has been increased by Rs 50 for protected customers and Rs 500 for unprotected customers.

According to the notice, household consumers who consume 25 cubic meters of gas per month were given a discount, and the gas tariff of 2 categories of household protection consumers was reduced by 16 and 33 percent.

According to information, the tariff for other domestic consumers increased from 25 to 113 percent, the price of gas for commercial consumers increased by 28.6 percent, and the new price was 1650 rupees.

The price of gas for energy was 22.8%, the new price was 1050 rupees, gas for industry was 34%, the new price was 1100 rupees.

For the CNG segment, the new price is Rs 1,800 after a 31% hike in gas prices. 46% increase in the price of natural gas, the new price is 1500 rupees. The price of gas for the cement sector is 17.46%, the new price is 1500 soums.
