Lahore: A written decision has been issued to reject the second security bail application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan.
Based on the details, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi and Lahore High Court Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi issued a written order stating that Imran Khan’s anticipatory bail application was heard at 5:00 p.m.
The written judgment also said that the court adjourned the case till 6:30 pm and when the proceedings resumed, Imran Khan appeared and defense counsel Azhar Siddique did not appear.
In a written order, the Lahore High Court said that there was no alternative but to quash the petition due to non-appearance of the petitioner and the counsel.
It is worth mentioning that Imran Khan has submitted a request for protective bail based on the case registered under the articles of terrorism in the Sanjjani police station.
