New Delhi, Oct 2 (PTI) Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday said she has a keen interest in politics but has no plans to enter it professionally at the moment.
Ranaut visited the ‘National Gallery of Modern Art’ on Sunday.
The e-auction has started here from September 17, as a part of which more than 1,200 items gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been displayed.
The actress, who bid to model the upcoming Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, told reporters that she would continue to focus on her film career.
“I have no plans to enter politics. I am busy shooting my films. I am interested in politics but only as an artist and I am a successful artist. I started my career at the age of 16 and have reached this stage after a lot of struggles.
Kangana (35) said that her politics will be reflected in her work.
“I don’t have the stamina to start a new career, but I will always make a good film keeping my interest in politics in mind,” Ranaut said.
The actress said she is a patriot and will always encourage those who are “doing good work for the country”.
“I am a patriot… I am very busy with my work and will always support those who are doing good for the country, irrespective of the party they belong to,” she said.
