NAB’s outgoing chairman Aftab Sultan says that NAB cannot tolerate interference from other agencies.
Retired NAB chairman Aftab Sultan in his farewell speech at NAB headquarters said that he cannot tolerate interference of other agencies in NAB, NAB officers should not obey illegal and unconstitutional orders.
They say that one owner of the continent is inside and two billion outside. NAB staff must work independently.
They told me that so-and-so brother should go. I ran NAB honestly, I didn’t accept anyone’s interference. I didn’t come with anything and I’m not leaving with anything. 99% of NAB people are good, one percent have problems.

He further said that according to the Basic Law, elections should be held in two regions of the country.
It is worth mentioning that NAB Chairman Aftab Sultan resigned from his position. According to sources, NAB Chairman Aftab Sultan met with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and submitted his resignation request, and after that his resignation was accepted by the Prime Minister.
NAB Chairman Aftab Sultan said that the resignation was given a few days ago, I was told about some things that had reservations, I resigned for interfering in my work.
Aftab Sultan, former Director General of the Intelligence Bureau, was appointed as the Chairman of NAB on July 21, 2022.
