Tonic: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police prevented an attempt by terrorists to attack the Gomal police station in Tanki district.
According to the report of “Express News”, at 10 o’clock Saturday night, 10 to 15 terrorists went to the Gomal police station of Tank district with the intention of attack.
According to the authorities, the police observed the suspicious movement of terrorists with modern technologies and gave a strong response. After that, there was a heavy exchange of fire with the terrorists for about 15 minutes and they stopped the advance.
The terrorists were repulsed by heavy police action and forced to flee with no loss of life or injury to any official.
IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hayat Khan contacted SHO Gomal over phone and praised the personnel for their bravery in foiling the terrorist attack and also announced that he would give them fifty thousand rupees in cash and certificates.
