The Muslim League-N has announced that it will not challenge the decision of the Lahore High Court on the date of elections in Punjab. The ruling party says that we are ready whenever elections are held.
Yesterday, the High Court of Lahore, while accepting the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf regarding the elections of the Punjab Assembly, instructed the Election Commission of Pakistan to announce the date of the elections within 90 days.
According to sources, a consultative meeting of PML-N was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where the decision of the Lahore High Court regarding the Punjab assembly elections was discussed.
