While following the Hindenburg report on the Adani Group, LIC on Monday said that we will discuss the report with the management of the Adani Group in a few days. We have the right to ask questions. The Hindenburg report accused the Adani Group of high levels of debt and the use of tax havens, which have since come under fire.

According to the report, LIC Managing Director Rajkumar said that the fresh disclosure creates a difficult situation and we are not sure what the real situation is. Since we are the main investor, we have the right to ask relevant questions and we will definitely answer them soon.

It is worth noting that Hindenburg Research published serious allegations against the Adani group in its report, including the high level of debt and the use of tax shelters. This company is also accused of systematic robbery of the country. Adani Group has responded to these allegations. The Adani Group responded to all queries and termed Hindenburg Research’s claims as false and defamatory of the country.
