Bilawal Bhutto to attend 26th session of ECO Ministerial Council: Foreign Ministry SpokespersonTAZAA News

Islamabad: The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will participate in the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

Mumtoz Zahro Baluch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs will go to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on an official visit to participate in the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization on January 23-24, 2023. The theme of this year’s conference is “Year of Strengthening Relations”.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs will speak in this Council and on this occasion will hold separate bilateral meetings with the co-ministers of the member states and other high authorities.

According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, the Council of Ministers is the policy-making forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization. This meeting approves the decisions of the organization and the annual work plan. Pakistan is committed to ECO as a founding member.

It is worth mentioning that the 25th Council of Ministers was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in November 2021.
