Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited flood-affected areas of Badin district in Sindh on Friday.
The army chief spent time with flood-affected people in relief and medical camps.
Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa also met army troops taking part in rescue and relief activities in the Malkani Sharif area of the district Badin.
Later, COAS was flown for aerial views of flood-affected areas of Badin and its surroundings.
The army chief also had an interaction with businesspersons in Karachi.
He said the business community has always helped the people of Pakistan during various natural calamities.
The businesspersons acknowledged the role and sacrifice made by the Army for the sake of the motherland and assured the COAS of their all-out support for flood survivors.
