ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Feb, 2023 ) : The inter-regional men’s and women’s netball championship will begin on Friday at Hamidi Hall of Pakistan Sports Complex. According to the president of Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), Mudassar Arain, in the meeting of the organizing committee, which was chaired by Samin Malik, all arrangements for the championship have been completed.
“A total of seven teams from across the country including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Islamabad will participate in the Championship,” he added.
He said that at the end of the competition, while the manager’s meeting will be held on Friday, prizes, medals and certificates will be distributed among the winning teams.
The championship will be held under the auspices of the Pakistan Netball Federation in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Council.
Friday fixtures – Men’s fixtures: Balochistan vs Gilgit-Baltistan, KP vs Islamabad and Sindh vs AJK.
Women’s events: AJK vs Gilgit-Baltistan, KP vs Balochistan and Islamabad vs Punjab.
Meanwhile, the National Men’s and Women’s Netball Championships begin on February 11.
