The advantage of this 246 km long road is that it connects the country’s capital Delhi with the pink city of Jaipur. Thanks to the expressway, the travel time will be reduced from five hours to 3.5 hours. So far, the people of the two cities, Delhi and Jaipur, are connected by the National Highway (NH) 48 and the journey takes around four to five hours depending on the traffic conditions.

According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Sohna-Dosa section of the Delhi-Mumbai highway will meet the already developed Agra-Jaipur section of NH-11 near Dosa.

The expressway also promises to provide better connectivity from the national capital to other major states and their cities. The route is said to have more than 40 roundabouts, including major cities like Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Kota, Vadodara and Surat.
