Web Desk: The Animal Welfare Board of India has appealed to citizens to celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14 this year as ‘Cow Hug Day’, meaning ‘Cow Hug Day’. It is said that the cow is a part of the culture and economy of rural India. The welfare board further said that all cow lovers should celebrate February 14 as Hug Cow Day to highlight the importance of cow, happiness in life.
It is worth mentioning that the Animal Welfare Board operates under the Ministry of Fisheries of India, whose responsibility includes the protection of animals. The appeal of the Animal Welfare Board has also become a topic of discussion on social networks. Journalist Swati Chaturvedi tweeted, “Hug a cow on Valentine’s Day.
