World famous director, singer, actress and host Zia Muhiddin died in Karachi at the age of 91. Zia Muhiddin was being treated in a private hospital in Karachi due to his health condition. Zia Muhiddin was suffering from fever for the last few days. And because of severe stomach pain, he was admitted to the hospital, and it was found out that there is a defect in his intestine after the ultrasound examination, so he was operated on. Ziya Mohiddin was born on June 20, 1931 in Faizabad district. Mohiddin’s father had the honor of being the writer and dialogue writer of Pakistan’s first film “Teri Yaad”. Zia Muhiddin received formal acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in the 1950s. In 1962, he played an unforgettable role in the film “Teri Yaad”. famous movie “Lawrence of Arabia”. He started working and worked for a long time in British theatre, British cinema and Hollywood. Show the essence of art. He was the first South Asian actor to grace Broadway and started a unique program called Zia Muhiddin Show on PTV in the 70s. Zia Muhiddin founded the National Academy of Fine Arts in Karachi in 2004 and was the head of this institution until the last moments of his life. The funeral prayer of the late Zia Muhiddin will be performed today after the Zuhr prayer at Yasrab Imambargah in the 4th stage of defense.
