Daily digital news desk: Teesta Setalvad planned to hang Narendra Modi in the post-Godhra riots (Gujarat Riot 2022). He was arrested on charges of providing false testimony for victims of the Gujarat riots in 2002. The high court granted his bail plea in that case on Friday. However, this condition has been given to Teesta to cooperate fully in the investigation.
Along with the provisional bail, Teesta has also been told that she will have to deposit her passport with the court. He has to cooperate with the investigating officers, the Supreme Court has also ordered it. But on Friday, the High Court said, the Gujarat High Court will decide whether Teesta can be released on bail. The Supreme Court will not interfere in any case related to the Teesta case. Even a Supreme Court order will have no bearing on the Gujarat court investigation. Meanwhile, the SEAT Special Investigation Team presented a list of charges for explosives against him.
