Islamabad: Regulatory duties on imported goods have been extended to 100% by the federal government.
According to a notification issued by the revenue department, the regulatory duty on imported vehicles will be up to 100%. The amount of cigarettes was increased from 20 to 50 percent.
According to the notification, the standard duty on packaged food products, meat, fruits will remain at 10%, while on dry fruits, fish and nuts, the standard duty is fixed at 74%. The deadline for charging standard duty on imported goods was to expire on February 21, 2023, which was extended until March 31, 2023.
