(Web Desk) Petitions against the absconding of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members in Punjab have come up for hearing in the Supreme Court.

A three-member panel headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will consider this request on February 15. 25 members of PTI voted in favor of Hamza Shahbaz to be elected Chief Minister of Punjab. The Electoral Commission released the members from their posts for distancing themselves from the party’s politics.
