Lahore: (Web Desk) The austerity committee has proposed to reduce the salaries of civil servants, reduce the number of ministers and the expenses of the ministries.
The austerity committee has proposed to cut government offices by 10 percent and ministries by 15 percent. The number of ministers in the cabinet should be limited to 30 people, the remaining ministers and advisers should work without pay.
The recommendations of the committee state that the purchase of vehicles for the state should be prohibited. The use of funds in regional projects should be stopped.
In addition, there are several recommendations, including a ban on loans to public sector enterprises with government guarantees. The committee will send its report to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to decide on its implementation.
