The Kaziranga National Park Authority is preparing for the 2022-23 tourism year. Kaziranga National Park will reopen to tourism on October 15. However, there is a possibility that certain days may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions. This was announced by MK Yadav, Chief Conservator of State Forests.

It should be noted that the National Park organizes a jeep safari and an elephant safari every year in October of each year, although this time due to adverse weather conditions, the national park has stopped the tour. The park authorities have already started the activities of the tourist attraction.

According to the authorities, one of the main attractions of the tour this time will be the Garuda statue built from the ashes of Garuda Khargar. On September 22, 2021, the temple statue was built in Kharghar, which was cremated. Construction work is going fast, it will be completed in a week, says MK Yadav.

Although the national park is not open to tourism, it will be held in Kaziranga from September 24-26. The park authorities will organize some parts of the national park for the guests who are present during the brainstorming session.
