Multan: Lahore Qalandars set Multan Sultan a target of 176 runs to win. In the opening match of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars batted first against Multan Sultans and scored 175 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman scored 66 goals.
Mirza Tahir Baig scored 32 points, Husain Talot scored 20 points and Shai Hope scored 19 points. Sikandar Raza returned to the pavilion after scoring 19 goals. On behalf of Sultans of Multan, Ehsanullah and Osama Mir scored 2.2 balls and Aqil Hussain and Shahnawaz Durmani scored 1.1 balls.
