LAHORE: The chief organizer of Pakistan Muslim League, Maryam Nawaz, strongly reprimanded her husband Captain (RTT) Muhammad Safdar for leaving the party’s politics.
According to the report of the English newspaper Express Tribune, Maryam Nawaz, the senior vice president, has made it clear that no leader, including her husband, Captain (r) Safdar Alai, should comment on the party’s policy. Strict action will be taken in case of delay.
Sources say that Captain Safdar was reprimanded by Maryam Nawaz for a statement against this party. PML-N’s official policy guidelines will be released soon.
Previously, in an interview with private television, Captain (r) Safdar criticized the party’s policy and said that Maryam Nawaz is not seeking to become the prime minister.
Captain Safdar said that the party no longer follows the narrative of honoring the vote as the party itself has buried this narrative by giving extension vote to General Bajwa. Nawaz Sharif should not have taken this decision and should tell them who forced him to vote for the extension.
