Multan: In the 11th match of Pakistan Super League, Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings after a thrilling match.
Multan Sultan scored 196 runs for the loss of 2 wickets during the first match. Chasing Multan’s 197 runs, Karachi Kings managed to score 193 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan scored a brilliant century, he was left out by scoring 110 off 64 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 10 fours. Sean Masood scored 51 runs and Riley Russo scored 29 runs.
Muhammad Umar and Shoaib Malik took 1 and 1 wickets for Karachi.
On behalf of Karachi Kings, opener James Vince batted brilliantly and scored 75 runs. Captain Imod Wasim’s team made an unbeaten innings of 47 runs off 26 balls. Matthew Wade 20, Haider Ali 12, Shoaib Malik 13 and Ben Cutting 12 runs.
For Multan Sultans, Abbas Afridi took two wickets and Usama and Khush Dilshah took one each.
