NADRA to issue free NICs for flood affectedTAZAA News

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will issue free National Identity Cards (NICs) to people in flood-affected areas.

According to the details, the NADRA chairman said that this project was launched in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Women, disabled and poor people in flood-affected areas of nine districts of Sindh and Balochistan will get free NICs.

This new project will empower women and people affected by catastrophic floods.

Earlier, Prime Minister (Prime Minister) Shehbaz Sharif launched an action plan called Resilience, Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Regeneration Framework (4RF) to be implemented in flood-affected areas of Pakistan.

It is worth mentioning that a total of 801 people lost their lives and 8442 people were injured. According to the Sindh Chief Minister, 339 children and 151 women were among the dead, while 2,087,186 houses were destroyed by floods and rains.
