MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – February 02, 2023) In January, the price of natural gas in Bulgaria will drop by more than 30 percent, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) said in a statement.
According to EWRC, the approved gas price in February is 124 lei.
34 (about $68) per megawatt-hour, which is 31 percent cheaper than the price in January – 179.33 leva (about $99).
“The main factor is the reduction of prices in the international gas markets as a result of stable weather and full filling of European gas storages,” the statement reads.
Gas prices are shown without additional charges – excluding access, delivery, excise and VAT.
