Former Punjab Chief Minister Parvaiz Elahi and former Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti were arrested from Sindh.
There are serious charges of corruption and money laundering against Muhammad Khan Bhatti, who was on the run for days, but has now been arrested from Sindh.
According to reports, Mohammad Khan Bhatti was arrested from Matiari area of Sindh.
According to Chaudhry Parviz Elahi, Mohammad Khan Bhatti was on his way to the Sindh High Court for security and was arrested on the way by the police under the supervision of SSP Hyderabad.
Parviz Elohi also said that there is a fear that the news of the arrest will not be revealed.
It should be noted that the anti-corruption office of the Punjab state has filed a case against Mohammad Khan Bhatti, in which Mohammad Khan Bhatti is accused of accepting a bribe of 46 million rupees from an officer of the highway department.
It should also be noted that the other main accused in this FIR, Highways Department SDO Rana Iqbal, has already been arrested. Parviz Elohi, the former prime minister and his son Monis Elohi are also named in this unusual case.
