Pervaiz Khattak, the President of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Republic of Pakistan, says that he is not aware of the meeting of the Supreme Committee, and we have not received an invitation to participate in this meeting.
A high level committee meeting will be held today in Peshawar in which all stakeholders, police, guards and senior officers of sensitive institutions will participate.
Earlier, according to sources, the Prime Minister also invited two PTI representatives to attend the Apex Committee meeting in Peshawar.
Sources said that PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq conveyed the Prime Minister’s message to Asad Qaisar and Peroz Khattak that he would invite the two PTI representatives to participate in the high-level committee against terrorism.
But while talking to Geonews, Pervaiz Khattak said that he is not aware of the meeting of the supreme committee, we have not received an invitation to participate in the meeting.
Apart from this, PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that he has not received instructions from the central leadership to attend the Apex Committee meeting, Imran Khan will decide whether to attend the meeting.
It is worth mentioning that today’s meeting will discuss the terrorist incident that happened on January 30 in the Peshawar police mosque.
The Apex Committee meeting will discuss measures to end terrorism, CTD and police improvement.
