Parviz Musharraf, the former president of this country, died today, Sunday, February 5, in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He was being treated in an American hospital in Dubai and was sick for a long time.
It is worth mentioning that former President Pervez Musharraf was born on August 11, 1943 in Delhi, joined the Pakistan Army in 1964, participated in the wars of 1965 and 1971, and was appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Army on October 7. 1998.
On October 12, 1999, as the head of the government, he overthrew and arrested the then prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, and was elected president after a referendum.
