Agartala: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said there is no family in Tripura that has not benefited from the politics of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing a rally here on the last day of election campaigning in Tripura, Prime Minister Modi also said that the BJP as a “loyal sevak” has left no stone unturned for the development of the place. He said that Agartala has become the gateway to international trade in the North-East, the capital of the state will soon become the center of trade.

He said the BJP “believes in the politics of change, not revenge”. The Prime Minister pointed to the Left Front and the Congress and said that both parties want to fill their pockets without caring about the welfare of the people.

He said that the left and Congress can do anything to satisfy their hunger for power. They fight in Kerala and develop friendly relations in Tripura. PM Modi said that people get free food, medical assistance, houses and other facilities during the BJP regime.

He said that I want to assure all those people who are yet to get houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, they will get houses after the swearing in of BJP government in the state.
