Karachi’s Steel City police arrested 5 suspects, including 4 injured robbers in an encounter at Somar Goth, from whom weapons and looted rupees 15 lakhs were recovered.
According to the press service of the head of state, Malir Irfan Bahadur, 5 guns and stolen money in the amount of 15 million rupees were recovered from the arrested accused.
The group of dacoits, who were arrested in this fight while injured, robbed 47 million rupees from Gulshan Hadid on February 6.
Muhammad Sachawal, Amir Khan, Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Sabir and Ghulam Muhammad are among the dacoits injured in this encounter.
Two accomplices of the arrested robbers, Shoaib and Moin, escaped from the scene.
According to SSP Irfan Bahadur, the injured accused have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.
During the investigation, the accused confessed to committing incidents in Shah Latif Town, Baldia Town, Saeedabad, Orangi Town and other areas of Karachi.
