Lahore: The Punjab government has imposed section 144 on the main highway Gulberg or Mall Road (Quaid-e-Azam Highway) in view of security concerns and PSL 08.
According to details, enforcement of Section 144 has been done by Punjab Home Department on behalf of Deputy Commissioner Lahore, while the ban will be implemented immediately. In this regard, the Punjab Home Department has officially issued a notification to enforce Section 144 within 7 days.
According to the notification, section 144 will also be applicable from Mian Mir Bridge to Istanbul Chowk, Civil Secretariat and adjacent roads along Gulberg Main Boulevard.
