ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Nov, 2022 ) : Sales of motorcycles and three-wheelers in the first four months of the current financial year (2022-23) have declined by 34.50 percent compared to the corresponding period. .years ago.

During the period under review, 412,111 motorcycles and three-wheelers were sold in July-October (2022-23) as against 629,212 units sold in July-October (2021-22), showing a decrease of 34.50 percent. to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA).

Sales of Honda motorcycles decreased by 20.61 percent from 435,072 units last year to 345,381 units this year.

However, the sales of Suzuki motorcycles witnessed a growth of 16.04% from 11,661 units to 13,532 units.

Similarly, sales of Yamaha motorcycles fell from 8,098 units to 4,856 units, down 40 units.

United Auto motorcycle sales fell from 115,374 units to 30,337 units, while Road Prince motorcycle sales also fell by 72.24 percent from 43,940 units to 12,194 units.

Meanwhile, the sales of Road Prince three-wheelers fell by 74.96 percent to 783 units in the same month of this year from 3,128 units last year, and the sales of Sazgar three-wheelers also fell to 2,193 units from 4,213 units.

Qingqi three-wheeler sales also fell 58.09 percent from 4,718 units to 1,977 units, while United three-wheeler sales dropped to 521 units from 1,197 units.
