Sheikh Rasheed receiving threats, case filed – Pakistan TAZAA News

Rawalpindi Police has registered a case of threatening former Federal Minister and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.

A case has been registered on behalf of Sheikh Rasheed at Waris Khan police station in Rawalpindi, the case has been registered against unknown persons.

In the case, provisions have been filed under telephone abduction and threats to kill. In the text of the registered FIR, there is a reference to receiving threats on Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s mobile number and Lal Haveli landline number.

Apart from this, in the FIR, threatening numbers were also recorded in the FIR.

Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed has taken a stand in the FIR that after receiving death threats, he has sent a message to the relevant institutions, and I am informing the police in writing, so that they can come in handy at the time of need, Sheikh Rasheed. He also applied in Kohsar police station Islamabad.

According to SP Rawal, the records of the identified numbers are being checked. The registered FIR includes provisions of Section 25 of the Telegraph Act and threats of dire consequences.
