ISLAMABAD: A bail application has been filed in the District and Sessions Court following the arrest of former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed. Sessions Judge Tahir Mahmood sent the bail application of Sheikh Rashid to Additional Sessions Judge, Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas will consider the bail application of Supra Sheikh Rashid tomorrow. The position in the petition is that the prosecution has created false charges against Sheikh Rashid with the help of the police and despite the suspension of the notification by the Supreme Court, a case has been opened against Sheikh Rashid.
