According to the sources, the constitutional and legal status of the request submitted via e-mail and WhatsApp was discussed at the meeting, and the authorities advised the president not to accept the collective request.
According to legal experts, the request for rejection of resignation should also be written by hand, while the approval of the request for rejection is also done by court decision and appointment of the president.
According to the sources of the parliament, the president is also considering the acceptance of 20 to 25 more resignations from “Tehrik Insaf”. The chairman approves the resignations on the recommendation of the Assembly authorities.
It should be noted that Asad Umar, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said that his party has decided to withdraw the resignation of 44 members of the National Assembly.
Asad Umar said on his twitter that the president still does not accept the resignation of all members of the assembly, therefore, according to the instructions of the party chairman, it has been decided to withdraw the resignation of 44 members of the assembly.
Asad Umar further said that the decision to withdraw his resignation as the Speaker of the National Assembly was sent. The next step will be the nomination of the leader of the opposition.
