The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea seeking a total ban on the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in India. The Supreme Court gave a strong explanation while rejecting the petition filed by the Hindu Sena, saying “don’t waste our time”. In this petition, it is demanded that the operations of the British Broadcasting Corporation be banned in India, and the work of the BBC television be banned.

In its petition, the Hindu Sena has sought an NIA probe into the BBC conspiracy to undermine the unity and integrity of India. Advocate Pinky Anand, who appeared in support of the petition, said that BBC is trying to lower the image of the country by making documentaries about Nirbhi, sometimes about Kashmir and now about the riots in Gujarat.
