Rawalpindi: According to ISPR, there was a telephone conversation between Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), it has been said that the Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain expressed his regret over the floods in Pakistan. Expressed the offer of possible cooperation.
According to ISPR, the Commander-in-Chief also appreciated the rescue and relief operations of the Pakistan Army in the flood-affected areas. The Army Chief expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation from Bahrain.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the assistance provided by friendly countries will prove to be very important in the rescue and resettlement of the victims.
