(Web Desk) The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued 10-point guidelines for caretaker chief ministers of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, interim ministers have been told by the Election Commission that the governments will be limited to day-to-day affairs, the interim ministers will submit their report to the Election Commission within 3 days after assuming office. Interim governments cannot send remittances, nor can they announce development plans.
Another instruction says that the exchange will be done with the consent of the Election Commission, the funds for the development of all local bodies of the two regions are blocked, the supervisory governments will assist the Election Commission in transparent and fair elections, the supervisory governments will be prime ministers, advisers to the ministers.
The Election Commission has said that the interim governments will withdraw additional personnel, the list of appointments in institutions on political grounds will be submitted to the Election Commission, the recruitment of civil servants has been banned in both provinces, but at the same time, the Civil Service Commission is allowed to be hired.
