Karachi: The Federal Ministry of Education has decided to establish a Community Resource Center in Karachi. This resource center will be established on 1 acre of federal government land between the National Book Trust and the Liaquat National Library. to its related federal departments and its associated students and teachers.

In this regard, a decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Federal Minister of Education Rano Tanveer Hussain. In this regard, IBCC Secretary Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah, Secretary, Chairman of the Federal Board of Education Qaiser Alam and Managing Director were instructed to working paper of National Book Foundation Islamabad, Dr. Raja Mazhar Hameed, HEC Regional Director Javed Memon and others were also present in the meeting. Providing video conferencing and other IT services to federal agencies at one place, including high-end computer equipment for modern IT infrastructure. in which teachers of schools, colleges and higher institutes are equipped with various learning skills to increase their capacity. Access to books of fiction, journalism, applied sciences and natural sciences should be made available to the public.

According to IBCC Secretary, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain has agreed to the above proposals and Director General of National Book Foundation has agreed to allocate specific land for these proposals.
