ISLAMABAD: The government has accepted the IMF’s requirement to disclose the assets of government officials.

According to the details, the government has started implementing the IMF condition and a notification has also been issued in this regard.

According to the notification, the government has sought details of assets of grade 17 to 22 officers and their families.

The relevant institutions have access to the details of the assets of the officers from class 17 to 22. The government has made it mandatory to disclose the assets of all officers and their families in the declaration. Full bank account details of officers and their families should be provided.

It is worth mentioning that the IMF has demanded from Pakistan that the assets of the government officials be made public and also seek the details of their assets abroad.
