Islamabad (92 News) – A joint session of the Parliament will be held today under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Parviz Ashraf. Along with the legislation, a resolution of solidarity with Kashmiris and against Indian atrocities is proposed.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will present a resolution in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5 in a joint session of the Parliament to be held today at 3:00 PM. In the joint session, a resolution is approved, which condemns Indian atrocities against Kashmiris.
In the joint session, the parental protection bill will be presented for the 2022 legislation. Amendments to the law on local government in Islamabad will also be approved. The purpose of this amendment is to increase the number of Union Councils in Islamabad and directly elect the mayor and deputy mayor of the city.
In the meeting, the federal minister Murtaza Javid Abbasi will present a resolution to discuss the economic situation of the country in Jammu and Kashmir, which will be dedicated to national institutions.
Decisions will also be discussed on CPEC, rapid population growth, impact of climate change and foreign policy. According to sources, the general political situation and legal order in the country will be discussed at this meeting.
