Lahore: The Supreme Court stayed the order accepting the resignation of 43 members of the National Assembly of Tehreek Insaf. 43 members of the PTI assembly, including Riyaz Fatiana, filed a lawsuit against the acceptance of resignation. Lahore High Court Judge Shahid Karim suspended the order accepting the resignation of 43 members of the National Assembly while considering the petition. The petitioners challenged the notices of January 22 and the Election Commission on January 25, stating that the MPs had withdrawn their resignations before they were accepted. After withdrawing the resignations, the president has no authority to accept the resignations. Accepting the resignation of members of the assembly is against the law and is based on malice.
