ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased gas prices by 112 percent.
Domestic consumers are divided into protected and unprotected categories, Ogra said in a statement.
The announcement states that 4 slabs of the protected category have been established, and consumers of 25 cubic meters per month and 50 cubic meters, 60 cubic meters and 90 cubic meters per month have also been included in the protected category.
Ogra announced that the new gas prices will be implemented from January 1.
It must be remembered that the federal government has also increased the price of petroleum products by more than Rs 22, while the price of LPG has also gone up.
