The People’s Party has written a letter to the Election Commission to promote the process of the election of the Mayor of Karachi.
Senator Taj Haider, in charge of the central election cell of the Pakistan People’s Party, wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner. In this letter, the Pakistan People’s Party expressed its concern over the delay in the Karachi mayoral election.
Senator Taj Haidar wrote in a letter to the head of the Election Commission that it is unfair to prevent the election of 250 members of the city just because of the election in 11 seats.
The letter states that we do not consider any excuse for the delay in the mayoral election to be valid. The Pakistan People’s Party has demanded from the Chief Election Commissioner that the Election Commission should hold the election of the mayor of Karachi without delay.
