Wahari: On a bus from Lahore to Karachi, the bus hostess was raped by a security guard in a moving vehicle, the police arrested the accused and seized the bus.
According to Express News, when all the passengers of the bus from Lahore to Karachi got off near Mailsi, the driver closed the door of the bus and the guard allegedly raped the bus hostess in Vihar.
According to the victim, the guard in the moving bus assaulted the driver with a weapon. The police of Danivol police station opened a case based on the girl’s complaint, arrested the guard and seized the bus while the girl was being taken to the district central hospital.
Police officials say that further measures will be taken against the accused after receiving the medical report, but an investigation has been started against him. According to police officials, the girl said that she repeatedly asked the driver to help her and stop the car, but he did not listen.
On the other hand, when social organizations and women protested against the police regarding mistreatment of bus hostesses, the police filed a case. The family of the victim girl appealed to the higher authorities for justice and said that the condition of the victim is serious.
