New Delhi: There was a moment when Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and said, “Thank you Shashiji,” when Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to a request for thanks for the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. The entire House laughed at this, while some BJP MLAs started chanting “separation in Congress”.

In fact, when PM Modi reacted to the opposition’s allegations during the debate on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, all the Congress MPs, including Shashi Tharoor, walked out of the House chanting slogans. However, a few moments later, Shashi Tharoor returned home to find Prime Minister Modi casually saying, “Thank you Yushshiji…”.

As soon as PM Modi said this, some BJP MLAs started chanting slogans of ‘Divide Congress Hogai’. In between his slogans, PM Modi was also smiling. However, after some time all the other Congress MLAs returned to the House along with Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi blocked the opposition and said that the people of the country cannot accept negativity and will never believe the “false allegations” made against them. The Prime Minister said that he has “Sarksha Koch” of blessings of 140 million countrymen, which no one can hide.

While Tharoor praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his speech, he said he did not answer the questions raised by the opposition. The representative of Kerala told the journalists that the Prime Minister made a good speech, but did not answer any of the questions raised by the opposition.
