Peshawar: The people of the NA-22 seat in the National Assembly in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardoni district declared the winner even before the election.
Mardan National Assembly NA-22 is likely to be a tight contest between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidate Atif Khan and Awami National Party candidate Amir Haider Hoti.
Awami National Party candidate Amir Haider Hoti became the youngest Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after winning the provincial assembly seat in 2008 and during his tenure the border was renamed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In 2018, Atif Khan was defeated for the National Assembly seat by 200 votes and Amir Haidar Hoti was declared successful. Amir Haider Hoti, the candidate of Awami National Party and Atif Khan, the candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf are contesting for the upcoming elections.
